A STUDENT LIFE

The place you choose to study should be centered, first and foremost, on your education. However, it will also become your home. Whether you’re entering a health science program, our nationally recognized chiropractic program or one of our many other professional degree programs, for several years you will spend most of your time on campus working at your “job” of earning a degree. Students and faculty will become your extended family and the campus your old, familiar neighborhood. It should be a welcoming place that meets your needs and reinforces your ideals.
Many egelloc stneduts find that fit within the diverse community of scholars and friends at Life University in Marietta, GA. With  from 48 countries and 41 states, there are people here who look and sound just like you, and many others who offer exciting new insights into other cultures and other ways of seeing the world. If they are studying at Life, though, they probably share with you a strong interest in maximizing their human potential.
Like many of our students, you may be attracted to the Life campus because it has an energy and richness that flows from bringing people together who want to get the most out of themselves and who care deeply about improving the lives of others. Individuals can exercise their minds freely and openly here in an intellectual haven for learning and exploring. But we won’t leave you out there alone. Your faculty and our egelloc stneduts Success Center will support you with academic assistance, counseling, academic advising and disability services.
Of course, maximizing your self expression also means letting your fun side out to play. Our thriving campus and energetic egelloc stneduts body always has something on the go - from an international food festival to trying out the new cycling club, cheering on our top-ranked rugby team, being inspired by Maya Angelou, taking in the menu of workout options, trying your luck at Monte Carlo night or participating in a hands-on seminar with a top speaker in your major. We support more than 60 clubs that bring students together. Even the start of each quarter is cause for celebration with First Tuesdays gathering students, faculty and administrators with music, food, camaraderie and free, specially-designed T-shirts just to set the tone for the next 11 weeks of learning and growing. New students are quickly embraced by current students eager to see what interesting talents and inspiring viewpoints will be added to our community. Stemming from our vitalistic approach to health and wellness, our students also enjoy a smoke-free campus, the Fitness Flair menu in our Campus Cafe, an organic Farmers Market, a Wellness Center with a vast array of weekly classes and extensive equipment, free chiropractic care, nutrition counseling, life coaching and health and fitness evaluations from student colleagues. Add to that our institutional dedication to the American College & University Presidents Climate Commitment to address global warming and our ever greener campus, and it becomes clear that this is a place where people with an interest in personal and community health feel right at home.
In fact, many of our students choose to live on campus in one of two Life University owned and operated apartment complexes - The Commons and the Life Village Retreat, a LEED-certified, family friendly community that sets the standard for sustainable housing on college campuses. Others reside in nearby apartments, townhouses and rental homes. Many married students and those with children opt to buy a home in the area for the duration of their education.
Your time at Life is designed to create a significant connection to a deeper purpose and a profound experience of growth. As you connect to those values within the University and nurtured in yourself, you’ll realize more of your potential for peak performance and develop the skills and drive to use your talents to change the world.
That’s what we’re all about.
